Wow, new Big East will be on par with the MAC? You must be high. No MAC team has ever sniffed the BCS, Boise is about to go to its third, Houston has an outside shot of making one.
Are you doing a bit?

We have 6000 seats the students aren't using. Will that help?

Take a look at that 2007 Hawaii football schedule......2 of the wins were over FCS teams - Northern Colorado and Charleston Southern. LSU was much more deserving of being in the NC game. Hawaii looked pretty overrated in the Sugar Bowl.

Georgia killed them. Hawaii never should have been in the Sugar, way over-rated.

That was my point. With Boise's current schedule, they will need everyone else to have 2 losses, which is unlikely at this point, and still might not get in. They don't get Utah or BYU in the MWC anymore, and we kind of hosed their strength of schedule with TCU. Computers will kill it for them.

INDY would be better for SMU, Houston or Boise. Ya'll do have superconference realigment available and THAT is what I would take as a simple grease monkey for the Navy.... You aren't a force, just make yourself one.

Whatcha really need is massive ticket demand and make Ford Stadium Out of the Question for the board of directors so you HAVE to play at the Cotton Bowl. Honestly UM fills a 100k plus stadium every week, how many do you think attended a single classroom session in Ann Arbor??????

As always, Go Ponies! (Till you play Michigan)

I swear that we do know what the Little Brown Jug looks like. 58-0 -- what a nightmare. If Gray had played, it would have only been 38-0.

Thinking about attendence I wonder what BE move does to curren OOC schedule? For the next several years we have home/homes with the likes of TCU, aTm, Tx Tech and Baylor all of whom bring fans to Ford.

If we have an average of 2 former SWC opponents plus odd years with Boise, Air Force, perhaps BYU and a rejuvinated houston that will lead to 3-4 games with +/-30,000 attendence potential. If students would show up and marginal pick up with BE membership we get 22,000-25,000 for remaining games. If we average 75-80% capacity per game that is a big improvement.
