Mama Bouche wrote:You got that right. Not when I was there, but I listened to many [deleted] whoppings over the last few years by Tulane on the internet. This is way better. Just don't have the QB yet. June is doing the best he can with what he has. I think the future is bright. Who'd a thought we would be heading to a BCS Conference at a Texas QB transferring in. What a week. Without June I don't think we'd be here today. Think about the rest of CUSA and what's left of the Mountain West, tough to recruit. We are fortunate...

Couldnt agree more on June's performance, his only flaw for me is his loyalty to hawii and his stagnant football schematics. I realize he uses the RnS to help a weaker team like us against better teams. Im not seeing the results when we played Tulsa and USM. If anything he needs like a backup plan to throw them off. Also I would love to see SMU have running game. I feel our best player is a RB, why not use that to our advantage. Sadly if we had a time to test it out, it would of been the 2nd half of the tulane game.

We have a running game it's just not diverse. Would love to see us line up under center and run it in short yardage situations.

To dutch and sbs, sorry, i mean exactly what sbs was saying, its usually the draw play they use. I mean its effective but obviously the second half they kind of figure what happens when JJ doesnt have the ball. Like I was saying about back up plans, Go SEC and pound the defense with our big linemen and strong RB. Then throw some PA passes for JJ to throw them off. I mean thats the plan I would use once they adapted to the RnS offense.
