My Daddy was a law school grad (believe he got 1st receipt when Lawyer's Inn opened) and he was in the navy. He was on destroyer's escort ship in WW 2.

Beat Navy ( and I hope we end up in the same conference).
Did you serve under John Paul Jones?

Has anyone heard if Roger will make an appearance and any chance of a fly over for the second state week?

I was his instructor when he was a midshipman. Bright young man, 'who had not yet begun to fight!'

When I was an undergrad at SMU I was a member of the Trinity River Yacht Club and The Turtle Creek Navy, where I served beer to my friends. Does that count? No foreign enemies ever got past us to attack The Rubaiyat Club, which was quite a feat.

My Dad (SMU class of '49) served in WWII and Korea (Lt. jg) in the US Navy. He will be there today (as he always does for every game with his SMU colors on). Oh, btw, he too was in the Mustang Band before he served in the Navy in WWII.
