I am confused, what is new about this. Willie Lyles pissed Texas off and they burned him. Seems like the same story from last summer.

Of course nothing will come of this. What makes this story interesting is that there is some sort of a paper trail. Most of what goes on with the athletes down here ( I live a few blocks from campus) is strictly under the table. Poorly kept secret, but under the table as a matter of speech. Go back and look at newspaper reports during the 70s when Saint Darrell was still in charge at UT. Seems a number of players got part time paychecks for working at the legislative print shop. Problem: There was no print shop. Nothing came of it. Nothing ever does down here.

Wish somebody had the guts to do something to UT, it would be awesome if they got blacked out on TV then maybe we can still some of their fans in Dallas, and I can watch them go down and down muhaha

There are many reasons nothing will happen to UT, one of which deals directly with tv, the Longhorn Network. ESPN isn't going to "uncover" anything of significance because they need their experiment to succeed so badly.
