Yes. That is the concern. Especially after the rioting on campus and threats to assistant coaches. You get 100,000 people in an enclosed space with a lot of alcohol, with everything going on....

Most Nebraska fans who went there in 2002 reported being treated fairly poorly by the PSU fans, and that was just a regular game, although it was a night game which usually means a lot more beer muscle in the stadium. I think they are going to be glad this is an 11am game.

And to Osborne's comments, I was listening to it yesterday. He basically said they thought everything would be ok, but they were making sure there was extra security and he didn't think the coaches and players would mind if fans didn't show up in red this week, considering the circumstances. He did not think it was a big enough concern to not hold the game or move it to a neutral site.
