Best way to 'protect' a QB that sucks is make the throws very simple/short routes/don't make him do anything "hard" (like lob passes, etc). Low risk passes. It sucks but it is what it is. Get the ball into the hands of your playmakers (DJ, Beas, Jared Williams, Thompson) ... then you can take a shot or 2 deep and just tell him to out throw everybody if needs be .. do NOT try to 'thread' anything and only if dude is wide open... throw it away if not ... if passes take longer than 3 seconds to get out then it is not what you want) ... IMHO ...

oh yeah. we all do the collective groan whenever he flubs. makes you appreciate the great reads and throws he sometimes delivers, I guess.
