Why hide it though? The info means nothing if we don't know where it came from. SMU can't and won't do anything to anyone who "spills the beans" on here. Just grow a pair and tell us, or keep it to yourself

I've read enough about the ASU AD situation to know this at least makes some very good sense. She was on her way out so they are looking. June probably might be hesitant to take a job w/o knowing who AD would be. Makes a lot of sense

If that is true there are so many potentially devistating implications not just for the football program, but the entire athletic department and university as a whole.

Big East - Do you really want to add SMU now??? The big name coach that everyone knows jumps ship and the AD that you've been in connection with for the last three months in brokering this deal also leaves. I could see the Big East saying "thanks but no thanks" leaving us in a CUSA sans Houston and Central Florida. Not to mention once again putting RGT in a position to hire a new AD.

Football Program - If June/Orsini leave, then the ripple effec through the team will be tremendous and far reaching. Multiple transfers, multipe de-commitments, multiple coaches leaving to follow June, etc. If Klemm joins June, we are seriously FU*KED for the 2012 class. Also, if Reinbold agrees to leave, we are triple dog FUC*ED. Two men have been recruiting for us and if they leave we are left with absolutely nothing.

Athletic Department - Say what you want about Steve Orsini, but he a fundraising sonofabitch. This university can't afford another Copeland. If we hire someone who isn't an Orsini-esque guy, we fall back into oblivion. This hire is far more important than who will replace Jones. Hopefully RGT and the BoT make the right call.

This is a real crossroads moment. Either way, I have lost a lot of respect for June Jones. What a sorry, sleazy way to go about your business. Digusting.

You clearly understand the implications of this rumor. Wouldn't it be nice to know how legitimate the sources of the rumor are? That's all I'm trying to say. You can't just drop a bombshell like this and then say "my sources told me".

Ummm, they get fired for disclosing non-public info. Statler does know people.
