SMU89 I will throw a party at Three Forks for Stallion & Nick17 if that happens!

Jerry Jones should have given this guy anything he wanted
& gotten outta the way a long time ago.

Cowher at SMU?...
Wow that would be nice and really pizz off a bunch of people.
But I doubt I will be buying Stallion and Nick's dinner anytime soon.

I heard Orsini is trying to get the Circle of Champions to provide money towards reanimating the corpse of Knute Rockne.

yea I don't think I've done this '07. So I guess everytime we hire a new coach I waste my life away on here. Hopefully we find a long term solution if JJ is gone

No matter what: if we get a great coach and he carries us to three straight bowl games, all the schools will come pick him up especially when they are making our recruiting class comparable with alot of the AQ teams. Its sad, if you want to make a good team then you have to put soo much money out that no sane person will leave. Unfortunately, our school cant afford it and our alumni are paying for our expensive HC now.

 haha yeah no kidding

But in all seriousness, next time this comes around the university, if possible not sure legality, but find an up and coming coach with good indicators, great charisma to recruit, and offer him a 10 year contract that has heavy penalties to break the contract and only the school can break it without penalities and offer him a decent salary. That way for him, he has a high paying job, for the most part job security, mentality that the school wants you to be in it for the long haul and he has no choice.

Our recruiting class for 2012 is ranked 50th or worse.....it's better than Bennett but it isn't top 25.....I'll worry about losing these coaches when we have top 25 talent and team....until then........

Yeah I suppose you are right I just figured that we are at 46 from never even been on the Top 50 list. I was thinking that maybe 3 years from now we will be Top 25 recruiting. Now thinking about it though, too bad we didnt get the pirate: Leach. He seems really loyal to his school and he even refused to leave pending a lawsuit lol.
