Agreed he needs to get in front of a camera. And sounds like he or his agent may have made a severe error in assuming a two million dollar buyout was a mere "tweak." Don't know the degree to which ASU assured him it would be no problem.

Don't agree he owes us anything other than that. The guy literally saved SMU football. We were number 108 out of 119 college teams in the decade before he got here.

Maybe if 20 CoC guys pay your salary you start to think 2MM is just a "tweak" that someone will step in to pay. I wonder why ASU folks initially rebelled against JJ. Is he that bad? Record here doesn't look so hot but first year was a waste.

Even if you take the last three years, barely above 500 in the CUSA was not what many of them were looking for.

June Jones was 22-17 in the last three seasons. From the time of the post-DP era in 1989 until the time he set foot on campus in 2008, we were 59-164, good for #113 out of 117 schools.

That is SMU mindset, not ASU mindset which was my point.
