You've cemented your place in SMU lore.

It's deserved. Thank you for focusing the national eye on SMU again. I know the film was being made anyway but how lucky were we that it coincided with the start of our turnaround.

Yep, yep on the last part. And again, thank you.
Just fun to watch it again, and separate myself from it and think damn, this is actually good, Thad! You did a good job. Which is a better feeling than I can possibly explain. I normally watch my films and can't see past the flaws.

My wife is a Texas Tech alum, and she loves watching this movie. She's a huge Eric Dickerson fan now!

For those that didn't buy the dvd set you really missed a lot in the 'extras' that were provided. Again, Thad- fantastic job and many thanks. GO PONIES!!!

The film definitely provided a lot of detail / color that "A Payroll to Meet" didn't quite focus on. I was also very excited to see David Whitford included in the Excess interviews, read the book originally prob 5 years ago.

The U is on now. Talking about a game against OU. I almost bought Boz's car when I was 18. It was a freaking awesome all black bronco. Lifted. Stereo. Blacked out windows. Teenager's wet dream truck. He used it for hauling his bike to and from rides in AZ. It was $2000 more than I wanted to spend. Still got a bronco, just had to spend more than $2000 to make it awesome. But it wound up cooler than his.
