Unfortunately... That's pretty much the case. 10 years in the Navy for me.(so far)

Thanks for all the answers everybody. I expected some to be pointed at me and I deserved it mostly for provoking it. I asked this question because you guys are a very interesting fan base and you're kind of hard to get a grasp on. I won't be trying anymore becausse I think I have a grasp on it now, from your mouths, you're SMU and you're on the up. The SWC guys, the missing generation and the new era, all together.

MNB is wrong about one thing: how Michigan people treat others at the little stadium in Ann Arbor. I've been to a game there--as a fan of a visiting team--and the folks there couldn't have been nicer to us. Ann Arbor is a great town in the early fall and the atmosphere in that stadium was something else.

I've heard it both ways. But Michigan fans are kind of cold I mean we need to cheer for our team louder I think. (at least on Defense).

Mustang football kicks [deleted]. Go ponies.But you guys are far more entertaining than the team, they are only pretty good. YOU guys, there is NOT another fanbase like you in sports. I'm just sayin'. Why in the hell wouldn't people want to come to SMU games? Other than the team only being pretty good and tickets being a great f'in deal. You guys definitely are football fans.
