there have been few updates in months on one of the few remaining top recruits listing SMU-Quinton Johnson of Port Arthur Memorial. Johnson is 6-3, 315 5.48, 22 Bench, 23 Vertical, Shuttle 4.91 GPA 3.4 and is a 3 star rated 5.5 on Rivals. Johnson will visit SMU Jan 14, Iowa St 1-21, Grambling 1-28 and has already unofficially visited LSU. Offers from the above except LSU.

I could swear I've read that he also has been offered by Houston. Not true?
I know I've read that he could play OL or DL in college, but most of the writeups I've seen suggest that he's probably best-suited on offense.

yep the last prior report had him leaning to UH but that was over 3 months ago. At the time he mentioned he liked UH because it was on the few schools that was recruiting him to play DLM. The old report showed offers from UH, Arizona, LSU, and New Mexico-I wouldn't be surprised to see UH still in the picture-the latest report focused on visits in Jan. But UH was not listed in the report or in the capsule of school he is interested in.
