Late Notice: Austin Watch Party @ the ThadPad

So I was supposed to be meeting with a subject for my new doc (so I didn't make the trip to B'Ham and sadly was going to have to DVR the game), but the guy had to cancel his trip to Austin and come in a couple weeks.... but the good news is that means I can watch the game!

If you are in Austin and want to watch the Mustangs steamroll the Panthers on 63" Samsung glory (I didn't make much on All Grit/Pony Exce$$ - but at least I bought a kickass TV), you are welcome to come by! PM me for the address. I live right next to Zilker Park if that helps make up your mind.

P.S. my new doc is also about college football in the 1980s, and I can say no more than that... well I can say the reason I was going to have to miss the game was that a gigantic college football star from the 1980s was coming to Austin to meet with me, but that is really all I can say publicly

Yes, Kate is in the press box b/c I saw a picture she tweeted. I had to go online to the DMN to read about our bowl game since the pathetic Houston chronicle doesn't mention it.

There will be more chances. I'll actually be in town for this next football season on like the last two (three, really), so I will return to having game watching parties.
