He turned down A&M, will sign on Wednesday.

I joined rivals about two years ago. Great investment. Ponyscott is right.

Hey if you have a passion for SMU...why wouldn't you invest 7$ bucks a month for either Rivals or Scout? I prefer Rivals myself but have had both. Its a great supplement to PF and we can talk a little more privately on those boards.

Please don't subscribe to Scout as long as they're employing Laken Litman as SMU beat writer

Well now that Laken posted it on Twitter:

LakenLitman:
After taking official to Texas A&M this past wknd, OT Seaver Myers (Friendswood) says he's staying committed to #SMU: smu.scout.com/2/1153338.html

GREAT news for SMU!

Good to see that. You see, we already are starting to own the Aggies. It continues in September at Ford.

Myers WAS offered by TAMU according to him, and his FB page post from last Saturday. Maybe they told him honestly he would be a red shirt and not play right away.

He was told that he was a backup by TAMU and you are now saying we are starting to own TAMU?

Rivals doesn't always get the full story

Right, these kids would never lie to one site but tell the entire story to another. That's ridiculous.

These kids flat out say what they want to say to each site. Don't think these sites reporters' ask leading questions or have some agenda in their reporting. EVERY FREAKING SITE DOES THIS CRAP AND YOU FALL FOR IT EVERY SINGLE TIME.

What the heck difference does it make? The kid committed to SMU way back whenever. Many people liked this commitment. People were freaking out because of his connection to Klemm and thought the 2012 class would collapse if he didn't stick.

Now, all you are doing is just undercutting the validity of his decision and attempting to belittle this player and lessen the importance of him to the SMU class. Why? Only you can answer that.

That's really small of you.

Regardless, he was invited to A&M, he chose to stay with SMU regardless of the offer or no offer.

So what?

I promise you that had he switched to A&M you would have been locked and loaded.
