Were these ever used? Can anyone approximately date them or does anyone have a jpeg of the original?

I vaguely recall the second photo on the blue shirt as being sold during the period 1963-67. I may be wrong, but I also recall that logo being printed on mini-footballs that the cheerleaders threw into the crowd after TDs. Footballs were bright red and the logo obviously in blue.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Thank you so much! I really think Ponyfans should start some sort of poster/logo album so that we can digitally preserve some of these graphics. I really like vintage logos and seeing the history of how they evolved with the program. Having ready-made graphics on Ponyfans might help/inspire signs during games or future ESPN Game Days. I'm building a website for RBA and I'd like to do this sort of thing too.

I like these. They are reminiscent of the "kick em stangs" horse, but different. First one looks to modern to have been used before, IMO.
