Nice story. After reading what Alabama did to some of its recruits, this is refreshing.

do not believe it does as I am pretty sure you can get a medical exemption against the 85 for injured players. Also Rice with its gazillion dollar endowment can clearly afford the ship. Anyway great deal for the kid.
