Quite frankly the only time I paid attention to the NFL all year was in hopes of the cancellation of the entire season

Stallion... I don't care if you hate the NFL as well... Let's stick with the topic.. Sterling Moore.. lots or should I say significant interest prior to the Bowl Game and after his breakup of the Raven pass..

What I said, and I repeat myself, is that after Sterling Moore's team lost... NOTHING...............

DURING THE GAME.... it was how many times SMU's name would be mentioned and I can accept that as a topic of interest but no mention of Sterling Moore.......

After the Super Bowl and the Patriot loss.. I waited and I looked for some love for Sterling and recognition of him for a very good game he played..... NOTHING.... FROM NOBODIES, I guess it is PAR for this course..... What have you done for me lately?

And you Stallion are the worst......................................

I take that as a compliment from some one as clueless as you. You babble on for pages demonstrating that you really don't know anything about college football. You are a CASUAL, uninformed fan/cheerleader

JonesDoe, so far I haven't seen you start a thread complimenting Sterling Moore on a good game.

You are either a quack or clueless.....probably both.

You got me..... I am quacking and clueless why all the ponyfans hold back their love when one of their own does not produce more points than the opponet. It is a Ponyfan type of generational defect that hasn't a clue when it comes to unconditional love...

Oh and you are in a classic state of denial of the truth... I hope when you take your daughter to soccer you hug her and kiss her, tell her you love her, after the game even if she loses.

I responded to the thread at the top of the page that went without a single post for a week.. I anticipated someone would post to it after my comment.. I wished him the best of luck and so forth.. not another post all week .. nada..

So I was curious what the post game recognition would be and wanted to observe... before making my opinion known.

Jonesdoe is BLM's brother I think. I remember him doing this same thing after they won the FCS championship when we didn't have a 20 page thread congratulating him.

You got me Stallion, I am CASUAL... I think I will change my moniker..

UNINFORMED.. FAN and CHEERLEADER...

I am not going to try to tell anyone I can COACH or RECRUIT better than Coach Jones..
I am not going to try to destroy the Team and Coaching with what is only a fan's opinion.
I don't care about X's and O's, I leave that up to the Coaches and those who do.

I do know enough to recognize good play and applaud, and when I see bad play understand and constructively support the team and coaches to lift their spirits back up.

I am smart enough to understand that these are kids playing a game to learn more than how to win at football. They need to know how to lose as well, but I am sure that one flies over your head.................

Surely you didn't expect overwhelming praise for Moore in a losing effort (which he contributed to by letting Manningham catch 2 huge passes on that final drive). The rest of the game he played well but that's not what most people will remember.

No, I don't think overwhelming praise is necessary but when the guys are feeling down and feel disappointed with their loss a little appreciation, a kind word and some affection are what is needed IMO.

Before the game Sterling Moore claimed SMU, during the game SMU wanted a pat on the back, after the game SILENCE...

As for the two passes, if Manningham did not catch those balls the game may have ended with a field goal and we may never have gotten the ball back.. Brady wanted to be the last to have possession...

There was not a single player on the field that day that played a perfect game.. But it was a great game.. I don't think anyone played a bad game.. There were half a dozen Patriots who thought they personally lost the game but the fact of the matter is the last play determined the winner and Ochocinco would have caught that tip.. Gronk was injured and playing stiff could not move or jump.. So there ya go..

If Moore didn't allow Manningham to catch those passes the Giants might never have gotten into FG range to begin with, he was responsible for the Giants gaining 54 yards of field position. He got about as much "love" on this board as you would expect following a loss.
