A good 4 would be Scott Cross, Ben Jacobsen, Johnny Jones, and Brooks Thompson.

According to twitter, Az State coach Todd Graham has accepted head BB coach job citing his ties to Dallas.

Not sure if posted.....from ESPN's Andy Katz

"SMU should go get my ESPN colleague Fran Fraschilla. But if the Mustangs choose not to or if Fraschilla isn't interested, look to Marquette associate head coach Tony Benford to make a strong play. He played in the old Southwest Conference at Texas Tech and has deep Texas ties."

Huggins has always had a a history of getting kids out of Dallas between Cincinnait and WVU. He's got one on his roster now in Lincoln's Keaton Miles.

I'm not sure if Harrison goes into Dallas but Huggins knows the AAU scene pretty well from what I understand.

IF we go the assistant route, I like Harrison and love Benford. Benford would destroy the area recruiting

After researching the names mentioned so far, Benford looks outstanding with roots in the SW.

It's worth going all out for him because he has the same platform to win as he would at Illinois, but much less pressure!

We'd probably have to pay Shaka 3 bills a year to get here. Like hoop and said, we'd have to back up the truck. Second thought, since GF has a few billion extra these days, why not? The Circle of Ford.

Honest Q, where do you get him being a high academics private school kind of guy? He went to Kenyon College, and had stops at California (PA), Dayton, Florida, Akron, Clemson, and has been the head man at VCU which is about a polar opposite of SMU as schools go, save for HBCs. Kenyon's the only private on there and he played there. I think he'd be a great hire, but we'd have to back up the truck to even get a look.
