Re: U of Wisconsin boardpretty rational posts
Re: U of Wisconsin boardwhen was the last time a big 10 school had a 20 something email string about the pros and cons of SMU sports? We aint back, but we sure are getting closer.
Re: U of Wisconsin boardAlso helps that froggie high kicked their butts and they won't forget that very soon. Just helps us.
Re: U of Wisconsin board
One of my coworkers is a Wisconsin grad. He still claims that they got hosed in that game. I hate the Big 10. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: U of Wisconsin boardmost interesting comment was future expansion of Ford to over 60,000 from proceeds of Gerald Ford's recent Bank sale. Anybody heard anything resembling this rumor

Re: U of Wisconsin board
I really hope that they don't close in the horseshoe. Add a third layer, but please do not fill in the grassy knoll! Pony Up!
Re: U of Wisconsin board
That knoll is more fun than the Moody parking lot.
Re: U of Wisconsin boardthe horsehoe will be filled at some point. I have heard absolutely no talk of that at this point. I think that project is roughly number 30 on the list for down the road after many others....Now if we get over 15k season ticket holders....that could accelerate.
Re: U of Wisconsin boardSorry to further derail the thread, and I think this has been discussed before, but how can they add another level of seating to Ford on the east end with the new housing going up right there? I dont think it's possible

Re: U of Wisconsin boardit was designed to add a deck when needed - above the existing level. would not extend beyond the existing eastern wall of the stadium. plus the dorms are well back from the stadium anyway.
Re: U of Wisconsin boardAt one point somebody said the original plans wouldn't work anymore with the sophomore dorms because of fire code violations - but if we are off a few feet I'm sure we can get a waiver or move Ford over a few feet.
Shake It Off Moody
Re: U of Wisconsin boardi don't think that is correct - they will work fine. There is no effect from the sophomore housing since we would go straight up.
Re: U of Wisconsin boardI maintain we actually fill the existing stadium before declaring how we will expand it. IMO.
