It was a great game the last time we beat Baylor down in Waco back in 1986!

Where's everyone going to eat? The Elite Cafe??

I'm not current on Waco grub....

I would expect a big showing with the curiosity towards GGilbert...

I figure if he knows 1/3 of the offense by then we'll be OK with our skill guys...

I haven't been to that hell hole aka Floyd Casey since the 80's, and I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm looking forward to a Health Camp burger and some mexican food. Where does everyone tailgate at Baylor? I assume the parking lot?

My God I was at that 10-7 game. Watching those two offenses try and score was pure torture. I want to say Tate Wallis was our QB then? I've tried to block all that out.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Me, too, so frustrating. Poor Phil Bennett. SMU had chance after chance to win that game.

Just and FYI:

The players are going through their summer training and 7-7 now as we know. I spoke to a player the other day and asked how it was going … but in particular GG. He said GG looks like the former National HS player of the year. Not only looks the part physically, but mechanically. I asked if there is a big difference in arm strength/accuracy with GG and CP. He likes CP and said CP he has a strong arm too, but CP sort of slings it sidearm, were as GG is really smooth and effortless. GG is going though weights in the AM and conditioning in the PM, and working his tail off … guys like him he and he is fitting in well.

I know this is only voluntary 7-7 with teammates in a relaxed atmosphere … but good feedback and signs.

I don’t think the team will have the deer in the head lights look or feel about them this game as they did with A&M. I think they come out focused, confident, and ready to rock. I think the "D will be chippy and play with a confident swagger.

Thanks for the post and heads up on the 7 x7 ....good stuff. I look forward to the QB competition...it will keep them both sharp...and we will need them both.

La Fiesta is a good local Tex Mex joint at Valley Miils and Franklin. It is two minutes from Baylor Stadium. I Have had dinner there several times. Myself plus six will be there to watch the Mustangs whip up on the Dr Pepper drinking Bears!!
GO MUSTANGS!
