How many former SMU football players, whether or not they ever got into a game, are current or recent correspondents on this message board?

I hope someone will start a All Time SMU Team limited to those who post on ponyfans.

SMU's 1982 Defense was not near as good as that 1981 Defense and a prime reason was the loss of Armstrong. They just didn't perform at the same level-the offense bailed them out or we could have lost several games. Heck Hutchison at Texas Tech ran for 244 yards against the 1982 Defense-that never would have happened if Armstrong had been around. The 1981 Defense smothered every team it played including the one they lost to Texas 9-7. That was the best defensive by far SMU has had in my lifetime

I think Meredith and Walker quit posting on ponyfans when they died.

TOUCHE! I had no idea that I'd read the words of so many people I've read about. Thanks.

But maybe you could give the screen name of Dandy Don or the Doaker so I could go back and see what they said?

NQ, mrydel is one of those x players who post, though he is neither Doak or Meredith. For some reason he decided to use his real name. He, dubs, and ponyte, are the most prolific xplayer posters, though I am sure there are a few more I am missing. It is always good to get the perspective of the guys that have been through it.
