As an Ad man myself, I can tell you that TMA is a great agency and will probably do great work for SMU if it is true that they are now working for athletics.
They've done some unbelievable sports marketing work.
Good for smu....about time! I do agree with the poster who said the wording doesn't flow. Why are "SMU is" and Dallas' Team" so segregated??? Agree it does not scream college football but it is a start!

bc the campaign is "SMU IS..."
Then they are going to change up the item in the box. I.e. drawing you to search out what it IS. Some will say "college football" "college basketball" "Dallas' team" etc...

The billboards are just the start. There are plans for a whole lot of radio with tons of promotion. This should be a very visable and active campaign. Don't know if t.v. is included...but would think probably so at some level.
