A challenge to June Jones
Decide if you want to be at SMU or not.
If you do, then put forth 100% effort into coaching our team.
If you don't, resign now and save yourself and us a whole lot of trouble.

Why should he bother, he knows he won't get fired short of a scandal. I expect him to continue doing a half-assed job until he cons some other program into hiring him.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: A challenge to June Jones
Too secure to care.
Re: A challenge to June Jones
Fire him now. Mason for Interim, Phillips for OC. Do it Hart. Have some Balls. June is worthless. I've given him credit for 3 years but his play calling tonight was horrendous and his lazy recruiting is showing up.

I have already emailed Hart, and ohhhh---what a shock--the email came back undeliverable. Will be on the phone Tuesday morning.
It makes sense to me.

Email him, call him, tweet him, whatever. This is inexcusable
Re: A challenge to June Jones
Heard they didn't recognize and therefore asked the identity of one Larry Brown ay the MC tailgate. So when he bails too in short order, there's the seed planted.
Re: A challenge to June Jones
Last year when I was serious about letting JJ go after his wanting to leave for ASU some people didn't like it. I still wish SMU would have made a coaching change after that.
I also think about the players. I don't want to do anything that hurts those who play hard for SMU by making a coaching change because they may not fit a new coaching staff etc.
Well, I already wanted a change so..........
