Re: Silver Lining Awards
i think we are outmanned by A&M - but i think Baylor is better then TCU and better coached top to bottom - so i think our best shot at a W is at home vs TCU. Dont get me wrong - i think TCU is plenty good so our odds aint great.

One other, when we did get some pressures on the BU QB, he was very inaccurate.

Re: Silver Lining Awards
Not sure the pass protection was a good as some may think. I got the distinct impression from the comments of both JJ and GG after the game that there were a number of break downs. GG commented that he was ordered to just not get sacked and frequently unloaded early or without accuracy to avoid a sack. Also, Line got stuffed early on with an number of missed assignments. Not a criticsim, just saying that the O line may have had more of an negative impact than is realized.ponyte wrote:Kickoff team and punt team. Looked solid all the way around.
Line of course.
Pass protection
Young players making the most of limited playing time.

Still no sacks, but I agree that some passes may have been rushed and that run blocking was suspect, especially at first.PoconoPony wrote:Not sure the pass protection was a good as some may think.
