Name recognition is pretty much the only thing the Big East has going for it anymore. If they become the "All American Conference" or something you throw that last shred of recognition away.

Very stupid IMO. Like someone said, name recognition is all the BE has going for it anymore. At least in basketball, the Big East name still carries some weight. Would be dumb to change it. Surely some sharp marketing people will figure this out
