the money guys will decide when it is time for a new coach. For now, JJ is it and it doesn't do any good for a bunch of internet fans to b*tch and moan about it

for all the talk about our poor recruiting, SMU still has to do something to make this program more attractive to recruits. Competing against schools that offer Big XII vs CUSA (and now The Big East) isn't easy. It doesn't help when we can't fill 34k seats but the biggest thin is that we need to win to get kids' attention. These games against Baylor and A&M really hurt, but maybe they can bounce back against TCU.

If not, it's going to be really important to do well in CUSA. Goine 6-2 would be a strong accomplishment. Getting to another bowl game is really important.

CP- you are correct that the money guys will make the decision. In the meantime I hope they plan on buying about 15k seats for the games because people will not come out to see this type of crap.

Last year JJ complained that he won a couple of games and the stands weren't full. Watch what he sees after the damn froggies whip our butts and we are 1-3 going into cusa play.
Maybe we should save money and drop down to the Southland conference. Those type of teams seem like the only ones we can be competitive with.
And yes, if the C of C won't stand up and make a change then who else should care.
Dallas fans will only support winners.
