As June said in the TXA 21 interview that the TV contract by the BE will put us financially where we need to be.

JJ brought us to this level and now it is time to find someone to get us to the next.

gostangs wrote:you overstate that those people (COC) were mobilized by orsini. did he have a roll? Yes. Was it he who organized it all - no.

i think Hart will be great for us. those that want an energetic young recruiting oriented coach will not have to wait very long. It may be one more year of June, but that would be the max. I think it will be later this year (hope) - but may be one more. I would be shocked if a list is not being pulled together and there arent already informal chats underway.
If it wasn't Orisin then why did it take 20 years to organize?

That's probably true. But we won't know for sure until the end of this season. Why tear things down now?

Is recruiting going to get dramatically better between now and late Nov because if not there's nothing to tear down.

It could. There are several undecided, including at least one highly touted decommit.

So we're holding out for a couple of Hail Marys that this staff has shown a remarkable inability to land?

I'll say it. I hope we tank this entire season. I absolutely hate it for the kids b/c its not their fault their coach mentally and emotionally checked out after he woke up from his ASU wet dream. But for the longterm health of this program getting rid of June Jones is paramount. We lose the following kids as we enter our first year of Big East play:

Zach Line
Bryan Collins
Darius Johnson
Margus Hunt
Kevin Grenier
Ja'Gared Davis
Taylor Reed
Cameron Rogers
Ryan Smith

We are going to be in serious rebuilding mode thanks to the lei-wearing fraud's inability to recruit better than a Sun Belt program. If you think June looks unmotivated and pathetic now, wait until next year with a very young team. Send the guy back to the islands. A big part of him never left there anyway. Give me someone who looks and acts like he gives a damn and WANTS to be at SMU.
Back off Warchild seriously.

You have added to the list. Sad to root against your team.

That definitely wasn't me, I have been at every home game and will be at all the remaining home games and the road game at Rice. I've never stopped supporting this team publicly or privately.
