Is June Jones Irreplaceable ?

I think some feel that way. Just wanted to get thoughts. If so I see why the June to the death supporters are so vehement about keeping him no matter what.

Some people think just because he brought SMU back from the dead, that he should get a free pass until he chooses to leave.

He hasn't won a single Conference Championship, and the one time he got SMU to the Title game, they got absolutely dominated.

Sorry but no. He's no where close to irreplaceable.

absolutely not! I was so excited when JJ was named our coach and he has done lots of good, but I think he has done all that he can.......thanks and aloha!

That would match his recruiting effort, personality and energy on the sideline

I wouldn't say we were dominated that day at all. Padron was a walking corpse. Our D was great and I believe we moved the ball better than they did.

Well at least he is not recruiting players with just FCS (D1AA) offers. At least UNT and UTSA are FBS (D1A) school.
