I wasnt a math major, but down 20-15 in the 4th, why not go for 2 and try to make it a FG game?

Tulane 20-16.

you always go for the PAT when you have a high flying offense that can put up a ton of points at any time, duh.

Congrats on the TD.

See, JJ's offense just needs time to gel. This is PROOF that the players are starting to get it.

Holy [deleted], we scored a TD in the redzone. 20-16 Tulane, plenty of time to finish this comeback.

SMU 330-260 in total offense. That said, Tulane has been pretty conservative in the second half and hasn't tested our secondary. This drive will be a test.

Defense shut em down. Run Line over and over. Score TD. Get the heck out of Nola with a win and forget the first 3 quarters ever happened. ;-)

So if you score a TD you're up by a FG and won't lose on a last second kick. Best I can think of.

Our D is doing great. Take the easy points with basically 15 minutes left. Going for two isn't needed with so much time on the clock.

It was a no brainer. Go for 2. Nothing to lose. I do not understand.
