I was talking about the game with a buddy who went to Baylor the other day in anticipation for the rematch on 9/3. I had forgotten what a pathetic display that game was.

Final score was 10-7. SMU missed a 38 yd FG in the fourth. Baylor's two scoring drives were for minus-11 and 35 yards.

Kincade ran 30 times for 113 yards. Baylor's leading rusher gained 57 yards on 25 carries. The Mustangs outgained Baylor in total offense, 204 yards to 182.

SMU had 3 personal fouls in the second half-2 facemasks and a chop block. Please tell me we won't use Big XII refs this year.

Add to that a fumbled punt return.

We should have known it was going to be a loooong year.

On the positive side, SMU sold out its allotment of tickets that game.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Are you forgetting UTEP, and Kincaid's fumble on the one after breaking a fifty+ yard run? There were several we gave away that season.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

That fumble was beyond belief. My buddy turned to me after that play and actually said , "How much was he paid to fumble that ball?" Of course that was unfair, but Kincade did have a nasty habit of fumbling at the wrong time.

Yes, right after you cross the goal line or run out of bounds. This is the RIGHT time to fumble.
Just send 'da money.

That game was a total beating. From the really bad football, to the pathetic stadium, to wasting an hour in line at the Will Call window, to just being in Waco, it was a through and through beating. So of course I am planning on putting myself through the same misery in College Station later this year. :D

I just found out that my high school 30th reunion is on September 17, here in Dallas. I didn't attend my 20th or 25th (I had a really lousy time at the 10th) but I'm probably going to this one. However, I'm going to try and still make it to College Station to see the Mustangs against the Aggies! Anyone know a kick-off time yet? (I am bypassing going to Lubbock to see my alma mater - Sam Houston State - against Texas Tech.)

Just to be safe, skip the reunion -- remember how awful the last one was? ( )

See you in College Station!
