According to some Mason really liked this kid. Compared him to Taylor Thompson Was our best DE prospect before Minor. Losing Brubaker hurt worse than losing Paul IMO.

No, more likely they heard he was coming back.

He took an official to Tulsa this weekend, watched them beat UCF and was convinced to flip. Winning is important.

Ponyfans, Congratulations!

All the negativity on this board is driving recruits away. They read this board, you know, and instead of supporting the team, we're on here b*&^(ing and moaning about how bad the program is, how we're going to be in a conference with f&*&^ing Lamar of all people, etc.

Hope everyone is happy.

Winning is important.
Agreed.

Of course, it's better to win AND be in a conference that matters. But I've always believed that I'd rather be an elite team in a lower conference than a mid tier/lower tier in a good conference. But what do I know. Tulsa is a good team and deserves to be in a top 6 conference.

Losing in the blowout fashion in which we did had to really hurt.
