If we still have a scholarship open, and if he can qualify academically, I'd still like to see this guy at SMU. Based on those who follow hoops recruiting, I gather that's a longshot, at best.

If we still have a scholarship open, and if he can qualify academically, I'd still like to see this guy at SMU. Based on those who follow hoops recruiting, I gather that's a longshot, at best.
no doubt that we would love to have him.....he's a tremendous player, but since he has missed two six-week periods due to grades at Lincoln, I will be very surprised if he plays at a division I school next season.
Again, for what its worth, Flowers high school coach is telling people that he's going to be eligible. I cant see how that will be possible, or what kind of minor miracle it required, but he says Flowers will make the NCAA minimum number of credits, and people seem to be proceeding as if they expect him to be able to sign a Letter-of-Intent.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
