Moore might get 40 minutes a game next year.......
again, manuel has been close to great this year. He also fueled the comeback tonight

In any event, it'll be interesting to see the minutes. Manuel has certainly continued to develop nicely, but one would think Brown will want "his" PG running the show next season.

Same mistakes at the end cost us. Turnover and offensive rebound. But we showed some guts to get a shot. Russell rushed that last possession. Too bad again. 3 home losses by like 5 points in all.

Well, its Moore's to lose, and I'd have to think Manuel will play off the ball a lot next year. The win/win is that Russell no longer has to handle for extended stretches. He's a good offensive player but he's careless w/the ball. Multiple 5 plus turnover games recently

Yes. Unfortunately he has been careless in the last few minutes of close games. An early TO is manageable - TOs under 2 minutes are inexcusable. Love him as a player, but he needs some situational awareness. Plus I thought he forced that last shot.

Tough loss since we had a 19 point lead at one time. Team will continue to improve. We will have a true point guard next year. It was a fun game to watch.

Its tough to be so close, cause it masks the fact that we're really undermanned. I have to keep reminding myself that its about finding the players who stay this year, but it gets hard when you can win every damn game. Heck, It'd be easier to concentrate on player development if we were getting blown out.

I agree. I was ready for a throw away year and hoping to just see player development. Now that we're in games with 5 players, I find my expectation level has gone up and I'm frustrated. Really incredible that we've come this far with an undermanned squad.

I have season tickets and have been to every home game.
SMU is such a fun team to watch. They play hard but you can see how our lack of depth wears the guys down at the end. Our D becomes noticeably softer in the second half and I think they just run out of gas towards the end of the game.
But you see a great team effort from guys who reallylook like they are having fun competing. So much different from the team last year.
Next year we will be much better but will play much stronger teams. I would expect our record won't improve much.

Inconsistent play and poor ball handling through our hurt. It wasn't just the last coupl of minutes poor ball handling gave USM a chane for comeback in he first half as well.

My feelings exactly. It is a nice place to be though. It's great to drive home from Moody upset for the right reasons. Great point by hoopmanx too about how it would be much easier to evaluate talent if we were not competitive, but obviously the experience of all of these close games will do wonders for the future. Go Ponies!

Take out a couple of those lazy inbounds passes that they stole right underneath the basket and we might win that game.

That 7 point swing is what really turned the momentum.

forgot about those. And the missed dunk just before. Maybe it would have been better if those were permanently erased from my memory.

Speaking about lazy in bounds passes, Cunningham had his worst game of the season.
