Re: New nBE deal can be voided if more teams leave
the only real tie SMU and Houston might have is that if the MWC offers one they most likely are going to offer both SMU and UH because the MWC has few options to extend its market. Who knows what is going to happen with the ACC. I believe we have a shot at being one of the last ones in if the ACC goes big. Little doubt in my mind that USF, UCF and UH get picked before SMU. Just a matter of how many spots we are talking about with ACC.

I am not saying we deliver Dallas, but we deliver Dallas as much as UH delivers Houston. I think if ACC comes to Texas we are a package deal with UH from the conference standpoint - better state coverage and travel partners.

We deliver Dallas at least as much as Rutgers delivers New York...

False. UH has way more coverage in Houston that smu does in Dallas.gostangs wrote:I am not saying we deliver Dallas, but we deliver Dallas as much as UH delivers Houston. SMU2007 is right, but they still get less than A&M.SMU2007 wrote:False. UH has way more coverage in Houston that smu does in Dallas.

We are being proactive. We're assembling the Golden Girls for our coaching staff.ReedFrawg wrote:That's how I see it as well. I think UH is concerned only about itself and rightly so...hopefully SMU is not counting on riding the UH coattails. Have to be very proactive.
