Postby mustangband27 » Wed Mar 20, 2013 1:28 pm

These guys have a chance to outshine the Fab 5..... Kentucky will get over yesterday's debacle VERY quickly.

I really don't care about Kentucky and I have never liked John Calipari, but I am really happy Julius Randle didn't go to UT!

probably only be there one year together anyway. 2 will go pro and 2 will drop out if the averages hold.

So let me ask a hypothetical. Would you as a coach take a one and done guy over a slightly less skilled guy who would hang around and contribute for four years? What are the pros and cons on each side?

Probably the difference in a conference championship and a national championship.

I would take the best player possible from there subtly try to convince him to stick around.... Pro, you're giving yourself the best shot to win immediately, con he may be gone next season. No comment on the mediocre player.

I hear you, they are stinking it up right now which is good. They just have no effect on me, we dont play them and never will. I do have a problem with them messing up the college landscape however.

So much irrational hatred for UT around here. It's not like June went there or anything, guys.
