Kingsbury is shaking in his boots

Postby Guest » Mon Sep 02, 2002 6:00 pm

After all, SMU is #1 in the WAC in pass defense, after giving up only 4 completions for 106 yards through the air.

Hope the Tech coaches didn't notice the Navy running game.

Somehow I doubt Kingsbury is that nervous after seeing the Navy receivers get so wide open. He doesn't need a lot of room to get a pass to his receivers.

Saying SMU is #1 in the WAC in passing defense is like saying the fans who are actually going to baseball games are thrilled they avoided a strike. No kidding - ask the folks who aren't going again. If Navy didn't throw the ball against us, how are we going to give up yards? It's not like we stopped the run, so they had no need to go to the air. Sounds like your damning our defense with faint praise.

Kingsbury isnt shaking in his boots or his cleats either. He is more likely taking the stangs defense serious enough to pick it apart, saturday.
I dont wear no stetson but i'm just as big a Texan as you are.
