I agree with most of CFN's projections, but I don't see SMU going 0-3 against Rutgers, Connecticut & USF. Granted it would be a lot to expect SMU to go 3-0 in those games, but 2-1 or 1-2 isn't unreasonable.
Assuming the rest of the projections are on, 7-5/6-6 seems likely.
I have them winning and losing a few different games (UConn, Houston, etc) but 5-7 is what I think they'll end up at unfortunately. I have no problem with this
BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
It is hard to predict what SMU will do this year because of so many factors that have to be considered. New coaches that could effect the offensive strategy, a quarterback that has the potential to be one of the best around and made steady improvement last year. Anther stud running back. A question mark offensive line that could be better or worse. A strong defense that lost their foundations in the defensive line, etc. I will be bold and predict 8-4...though I have my fingers crossed. So, Mustangs prove me wrong and go 10-2!
