Maybe some could tell June that SMU does not play Syracuse this year and that SMU doesn't have to go undefeated to go to a BCS game since SMU is in a BCS conference (for this year). SMU just has to win the AAC conference. I guess he is not up to speed on those things yet.

He did say Syracuse. Can't see what is disrespectful about the need to let him know Syracuse is not in the AAC. I would rather let him know now than have him do say that on national TV and let him really look bad. It would be disrespectful to not inform him. So you would be disrespectful enough to allow him to continue to waste time studying Syracuse tapes when they don't play Syracuse? Now that is not right.

In all fairness, I am sure he watched a bunch of Syracuse games while scouting the other teams in the league.

But he still thinks Syracuse is in the league we are going to be in this year. That's the issue. And it has been 2 years since Syracuse said that they were leaving. Again, I just hope someone tells him before he goes on a national media outlet. That along with letting him know that we are actually in a BCS conference this year.

The level of displeasure with June on this board is amazingly high.

I thought that was a good interview and made me excited for the year. To be honest I bet he dropped Syracuse into the conversation to rile you all up. Especially when he complimented his own recruiting.

And just like the pencilled in comment regarding Rice.

The man is deadpan. He's not a screamer like others.

And he managed 7 wins in a "rebuilding" season.
