If Mudiay continues to improve his jump shooting, he can put some serious heat on Okafor for the top spot.

This is just for Rivals Scouting Service..he is already the #1 recruit in the country on Scout and 24/7 Scouting Services.

With this very high ranking, what is to stop him from jumping straight to the NBA? Are we assuming too much thinking that it is a lock that he will actually enroll at SMU?

Man you must have been out of college bball for awhile......

There is now a rule where you cannot go straight from high school to the NBA. His only option besides doing a year in college, is doing a year oversees which hasn't worked out for high school prospects at this point in time.

Brandon Jennings did it but I don't think it was a good experience for him. I don't think any HS kids consider that option anymore.

The opener at Moody against UConn should be a very special night. Our first AAC home game, the first game in the renovated jewel of our campus playing a national power. Doesn't get much better than that. And with any luck, we'll get off to a good start and possibly be ranked.

It's unlikely but if we get off to a good start, it's possible. We are on people's radar.

And again, our team is still an unknown but the talent upgrade is going to shocking. Our best player last year, JJ, maybe our 4th or 5th best this year.

I'm showing Scout has Mudiay at #3. Okafor and Turner ahead of him.
