Season Tickets...

Postby SMUfrat » Tue Sep 10, 2013 3:57 pm

Well, I am a sucker for SMU athletics...

A girl called today to discuss tickets with me. I bought two aisle tickets in section 206 for $250.00

I was told "these wont last long"...

I live in Houston and wont be able to attend any weekday game. Is anyone else interested in getting in on these? I have two, side by side. I am looking forward to the new Moody Madness.

When it gets closer to the season and I know my schedule, I might be able to help you out 8)

i actually for once would buy in on the very strong likelihood those seats wont last. When the casual college basketball fan in Dallas figures out that a) we are good and b) we have a really fun schedule and c) it is a great new building that might even have BEER and d) LB is friggin coaching SMU and e) the college kids are fun to watch go crazy (may need to work on that one) and f) the mavs suck and g) there is really limited seating and g) it aint all that expensive and h) they will buy up the seats in that place pronto.

I just bought a pair of tickets although I will be limited in my ability to use them. But I figured I had better get them now.

Starting PG for SMU 2014: Emmanuel Mudiay
Starting PG for Dallas Mavs 2015: Emmanuel Mudiay*

:D :D :D

* Although I doubt the Mavs will be bad enough to get that close to a top 5 pick

I bought my first set of Basketball season tickets ever, also Sec. 206 seats 3-4, I'm not sure of row, but know its around 6th row. Can't wait!, :D :D
And if anyone has any seats accessible to the new Stadium Club, and are occasionally not using them, please offer them up for sale. I will definitely want to experience THAT!

Oh and The football team sold me a pair of season tix, but basketball is driving this train!

I bought my first season BB tickets ever last Monday. Section 203, row 8. I intend to be at every game. Already gearing up friends and family to go with me. By March this should not be a hard sell if the team does what I think it can do. The team last year was fun to watch and should of had more wins but unfortunately we had little bench.

By start of next year we should have a pre-season ranking.

I would like to see our increase of sales for season tix. I bet it's pretty impressive

it is a multiple of our previous high water mark. However, that is not saying much

I predict our season ticket count next year (2014) will be higher than our average total attendance last year 3.5k +/-

That might never have been done before in the history of college basketball.

Just bought two season tix in 205 row 8. I think this is the first time I've ever been truly excited and optimistic about an SMU season.
