Um...how many Heisman winners does NTSU have? What major conference has NTSU been apart of? How many FInal Four appearances does NTSU have? How many times has NTSU sold out a game? How many 4 and 5 star recruits in either football or basketball chose NTSU? (Don't bring up Mitchell, he only went to NTSU because he didn't academically qualify for Mizzou)
NTSU builds a new stadium and even has UH come to town and still didn't sell out. Hell half the crowd was wearing red. At least SMU sells out every once in a while.
NTSU can't even hold UH's jockstrap.

I unfortunately used to go there but only because I had all of my tuition and other things paid. I had some good times in Denton but moved on to the bigger and better team
So you attended NT and left to attend UH because they were the "bigger and better team?" Your "bigger and better" team that has won one conference title since 1996 and finished ranked once since 1990. Bad. A$s. Hey at least you were pretty kick a$s on defense last year and all - only allowing 72 points to SMU. Bigger. Better.
I hate to tell you, you are a bandwagoner and doing it wrong.
What's funny about that, is the same team that gave up 72 to SMU blew out NTSU 44-21. Your star safety got clocked and knocked out of the game by Piland (who looked like an All-American against NTSU) when he scrambled 20 yards for a near TD.
The year we opened your stadium, Keenum threw 5 TD passes and your fans even admitted that UH was a bodybag game. (You know, the games your pathetic program plays in exchange for money to fund your athletic department because UNT football is worthless.)
You cite we won only one CUSA championship since 1996 but intentionally left off our West division titles in 09 and 11. You also bring up that we've only finished ranked twice from 1990-2013 but hey, at least it's 2 more times than NTSU.
Run along now NTSU fan.
What a whacky Wednesday.... I'm getting a kick out of this thread.

He and other NTSU fans think that because they are in a depleted CUSA, that they are somebody. You gotta remind them of their place on the Texas football pecking order.

Trust me, I dealt with the Todd Dodge years, I am fully aware of our place. I just think that you have pretty inflated opinion of yours. You are a pimple on the butt of the Big 12 and SEC. Nothing more. If crowing about being better than NT is what gives your a charge in the pants, congrats! You outran a one-legged man.
UNT: The premier research institution of North Texas and only university in D/FW with both medical and law schools! Leading the way for D/FW now and in the future!
Ive been wanting to tarp the endzone for a while now
I feel as though that looks just as bad, if not worse. My suggestion was to build a "premium" area in the endzone bleachers (north side) with an awning, full bar, and TVs showing other games. Everyone on here panned my idea though

I like MeanGreenMachine's signature about UNT being a premiere research institute when Forbes ranks the school at #954 in the nation (7th to last in Texas). Don't get me wrong, they have some really good things there (e.g. Computer Science Department for example)... but yea... irony.
UNT also has zero business opening a law school given the current job market. It's basically criminal what they're doing to those kids by taking their money. SMU, UT, Wesleyan (A&M), and Tech grads have enough problems finding legal jobs after graduation as it is now.

#954 in the nation? Just wondering but where can I find a link to rankings that go that high?

This may be the most entertaining thread ever (had to close my office door when I burst out in laughter). The one-legged comment from meangreeen was classic.
