Also appreciate the love from the SMU coaching staff coach Brown, Maligi, and Turner for stopping by and watching me practice today.
Just a question. What exactly does Jankovic do? I know he's the HCIW but until then what does he do? Does he recruit? What's his role in practices? Is he actively involved during team activities or is he kind of alienated waiting for his turn? Pardon my ignorance.

He provides important input to Larry Brown and has helped greatly accelerate the progress the staff has made. Formerly Howard and now Maligi and KT Turner recruit. Jankovich helps Brown strategize and update Brown on the current rules etc. Many were concerned about Brown's ability to acclimate himself to the college game after 20+ years away and Jankovich has helped him along the way. Don't underestimate the importance of him on the staff. Everyone on this staff pulls their weight.

Maligi and KT also help coach and update him on the rules etc as well as recruit. Neither Maligi nor KT are one trick ponies.

so you're saying an entire functional staff is more helpful than just a head coach and his pals?

for starters, Jank brought us a PG although it remains to be seen how effective a player Moore will be for us this year. A true PG could make a huge difference for this year's team. Just taking the pressure off Russell could mean a stellar senior season for Nick, who will be pushed for PT by Frazier and Head. I expect coach Brown and Jank will collaborate on different combinations because we are easily 10 deep this year with very little drop-off. I expect this team to be pretty intense defensively

Isn't the number of coaches permitted to recruit limited to three?

Oh my goodness. That tweet just made me salivate. If it means that we are getting closer to getting that "GREAT big" we all want!
