It is really annoying when people try to put down people's beer preferences. And the funny thing is, it's always the guys that only drink the mass produced beers that do it as evidence on this thread!!

And yet those same guys refer to us that love craft beers as "beer snobs"!

Who exactly is being the beer snob here?

You guys go on drinking your Miller and Bud and leave all the craft beers for CalAllenstang, StlHockey and I to drink up happily!
Cheers Ponies!

I was young enough that when those Zima commercials aired in the 90s, I couldn't tell if it was booze or not. Just some guy sitting down at a hot bar and drinking something clear that froze everything.

Drinking craft beer isn't snooty! It's anti snooty, actually. Can't imagine Biff ordering a Peticola's Velvet Hammer or a Joe's Premium American Pilsner.

When I was 18, bud light was a treat, when I was 20, it was standard, now that I'm 24, I can't stand that watery crap unless I'm playing beer pong or something where I chug it, or when it's free and I'm on the blvd 8)

Heaven forbid some of us want taste in our beer, if its too much for you older guys, so be it. More for me! I just want some kind of beer to drink while I watch the mustangs

* Miller Lite might be the worst beer on the planet though. I literally only know one person that has ever liked it and that was my freshmen year. Maybe it's a my generation thing.

I think we should just hope to get any alcohol in Moody before we start asking for craft brews and zimas.

agree. The snooty thing on this board is people complaining what beer they want. Please. Beer in a stadium is beer. Who gives a [deleted] what kind it is. We are in the stadium to watch basketball and get loud...not drink with our pinky out and tell everyone what business deal they did that day and how much money you have.

I do not think of the craft beer supporters as pinky outers. I think it is just their preference. But I do agree with the "just make beer available" statement. Once it is in, then the fight for preference can begin. But I hear what smusic says about distribution logistics and think the easiest, fastest and most economical way to get it started is with the basic brews. We can always grow from there.

its about having beer, not crying that its not your type of microbrew. Grasp the point. Most fanbases would be freaking out over the prospect of any beer, and you guys had to hipster it up. Everyone enjoys better beer, but that's not really the point here

I don't waste time with beer. . . I go straight to Ron Bicardi 151 proof, with a splash of coke just for coloring purposes

I'm not sure why you think liking craft brews has to do with being a hipster. I hate hipsters so much I think they should have to pay a special tax for being so annoying and worthless and i hate taxes. The beer just tastes better bro.

The craft brew market heavily overlaps the sports market. Go to a game at AAC or the Ballpark. Craft brew sold everywhere. Every decent bar is filing up with craft brew. Go shop at while foods. Go to a brewery tour. Nothing but solid income guys age 25 to 40. What is SMU's target demographic?
