Runnshooter wrote:I HAVE SET BACK AND LISTENED TO ALL OF YOU THIS SEASON AS I HAVE WATCHED EVERY GAME AND TO BLAST JJ THE WAY YALL HAVE AFTER HE IS SOLELY THE REASON FOR BRINGING SMU BACK TO RELEVANCY BAFFLES ME!
IM SORRY YOU ALL HAVE SHORT TERM MEMORY BUT BEFORE JJ BROUGHT YALL TO 4 STRAIGHT BOWL GAMES YALL HAD NOT BEEN TO ONE SINCE THE 80'S. NO ONE RESPECTED OR CARED ABOUT SMU. LOSING GAMES WAS A TRADITION.
WITH ALL THAT SAID I HATE THE WAY YOU HATE ON JJ LIKE HE IS THE REASON YALL LOST THE GAMES YALL SHOULD HAVE LOST THIS YEAR (TEXAS TECH, TCU, TEXAS A&M).
ITS REALITY! YOU ARE NOT A BIG TIME SCHOOL YET
WHY HASNT ANY ONE HERE FIRED OFF ABOUT THE DEFENSE OR THE DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR TOM MASON? IF THE DEFENSE WAS HALF WAY DECENT YOU WOULD HAVE BEAT RUGTERS AND DEFINITELY TEXAS TECH. THE DEFENSE RANKS 122 IN THE NATION POINTS AGAINST.
NO INSTEAD LETS BLAST OUR OFFENSIVE HEAD COACH WHO DOES NOTHING WITH THE DEFENSE. LETS DEMAND FOR HIS HEAD EVEN THOUGH HE BROUGHT US OUT OF THE DEAD. IF ANY ONE HERE KNEW FOOTBALL OR WATCHED PRACTICE YOU WOULD BE DEMANDING FOR MASONS HEAD. YOU WOULD WANT JUNE TO BRING IN SOMEONE WITH LIFE ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE! THATS WERE THE "NON MOTIVATING" IS COMING FROM. DEFENSE
OFFENSE IS ON PACE TO DO GREAT THINGS AT THE END OF THE SEASON AS IT ALL IS GELLING. COMPLETE TURN AROUND FROM LAST YEAR. THATS BECAUASE JUNE FIXED IT BRINGING IN MUMME, NOW GET RID OF MASON AND BRING IN A NEW DC AND SMU WILL WIN 7 MAYBE EVEN 9 GAMES NEXT YEAR!
hope you feel better, now I want to feel better: June Junes is a washed -up has been of a coach and it's TIME FOR HIM TO GO!!!!

Our head coach who "does nothing with the defense"? Yea. That's who I want in charge.

The games from the past two weeks would not have been close without the crapload of offensive turnovers. What does that have to do with Mason?

all caps has apparently not been around for very long, and doesn't understand that 90 out of 120 teams now get bowl bids. Scrambling vs temple does not a great coach make.

I thought the same thing. Especially since he calls us "as bad as LSU fans" - JJ's son goes to Arkansas

Interesting that his son goes to arky when he could have attended SMU free since his dad is a university employee.

There are 35 bowl games, so 70 of 125 teams get bids -- or 56%.

but about 20 teams aren't really Division 1A caliber programs-Texas St, UTSA, South Alabama etc etc. So 70 out of 100
