It's going to take more than 1 or 2 players to win the AAC

I know someone have said all it takes is one or two good players for an basketball team to win a lot of games. While that theory may have had a decent shot in CUSA it does not hold water in the AAC. Most of the teams in the AAC that we are about to face will have more one or two players that are good players on the teams. It will take about 7 or 8 really good recruits to win this conference. It this tat is why this staff is going for mostly 4 and 5 star players because that is what it will take to just be in the middle of the pack. We have 7 new players this year and are picked 6th (not 1st) in conference and that is with a 4 and a 5 star player added to the team in Moreira and Frazier. 2015 will be a major year since there are about 5 scholarships open that year. I believe this staff can do it. GO SMU.

Agreed. Just to COMPETE, we need these caliber of players. To actually win a lot and get to the tourney, we need EM AND Turner (and some guys like Lee, etc). THAT's why this staff is working so hard in recruiting. The AAC in basketball is probably equivalent to the Big 12 in the football world (2nd or 3rd best conference for the sport).

Yes, but we have four great ones coming in to a team that has two great ones on it. We are at least nine deep. No depth at pg, and not much at true center, but we are in good shape otherwise.
