This is what I know based on last year's game, reading previews and watching a few YouTube clips...
While TCU is picked at the bottom of the Big XII, they will be improved. Trent Johnson has their recruiting on an upswing. They landed their highest ranked recruit in years with Prime Prep center Karviar Shepherd who was ranked #65 in the 2013 class. They also signed Mark Price's son, a 3-star forward out of Florida. Both guys are projected as starters.
TCU's top returning scoring, Kyan Anderson, is a guard who can stroke it from the outside. Their other projected starting guard will be senior Jarvis Ray, who had 14 points against year. He had a foot injury that ended his season last year but I heard he is back to 100%. Also, if you remember last year's game, TCU lost one of their best players, forward Amric Fields, :10 into the game with a knee injury that ended his season. If healthy, he is probably their most talented returning player. Sr. Devonta Abron is their backup big who was their leading rebounder and shot blocker last season. He's a Dallas kid and will likely have a lot of motivation in this game.
Projected starting five:
G Kyan Anderson - Jr.
G Jarvis Ray - Sr.
F Amric Fields - Jr.
F Hudson Price - Fr.
C Karviar Shepherd - Fr.
We should handle TCU as scoring is going to be an issue for their squad but they will be more talented than last year. Hopefully we can jump on them early and get a lead because I don't believe they will play well from behind due to their lack of scoring.
