It's borderline impressive how terrible the play-by-play and color commentator are

PonySnob: "5000 in attendance......maybe"

Not really important. I think we should all be thankful that they showed up.

The way our athletic programs have been managed over the last 25 years, including JJ's lack of interests over the past several years, we should be thankful for people showing up. For attendance really shouldn't be an issue right now.

Consistent winning & winning big will handle all that. Our current situation lands on the shoulders of our administration who have allowed our athletic dept. to fall this far - NOT THE FANS!!!

NC- agree completely. Last week I heard a commentator say that after UCF started winning their attendance jumped 21%. I sure we could do better than that but we need an exciting program and a coaching staff that will recruit.

Also need a Head Coach that will glad hand the fan base and be willing to do the BBQ circuit, and he will do it with enthusiasm.

Thanks. I do have my moments.

I'd like to add that JJ shouldn't be complaining about attendance (either) - especially in light of his lack of any effort (to recruit & other duties of a coach & leader) - since the ASU debacle.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what will turn the fans off quickly after that kind of fiasco. Very hypocritical on his part I'm sorry to say.

These sporting events are costly for the fans & we should be able to show them that their money has been well spent!

Judging by the pics the UNT fans posted, perhaps not even 1-2000

This program badly needs an injection of enthusiasm.
