Latest line is Beloved Razorbacks -6.5 points.
The Arkansas Democrat Gazette (State/local paper) has LB on the Sports front page and he is the story line for tonight's game (LB's success).
Most folks around here think this is a penciled in win for the Beloved razorbacks. Only talked to one person that thinks this can be a problem game for the Beloved Razorbacks.
I sure hope we win and win in a solid fashion.

The Razorbacks will be surprised at the 40 minutes of hell they will have to endure tonight.
Go Mustangs!

I'm confident they will be very surprised at our level of talent and depth once the game gets rolling. btw, most of the R.I. fans were very confident coming into the game last Monday. It didn't take long for them to realize this isn't the same old SMU.
I sure hope they underestimate our team and our team takes it as their duty to show the Beloved Razorbacks that taking SMU lightly is a costly mistake. The Beloved Razorbacks have had sorry MBB teams for a few years now. They are trying to rebuild. Their schedule to date hasn't been much of a challenge (one could argue ours hasn't been either). They do play well at home and have good home crowd support which is something our guys don’t see very often.

LA_Mustang wrote:ponyte, I watched that Ark press conference someone posted and the media kept asking the guys about how they felt about playing against LB. As you would expect, they said they had a lot of respect for Coach and how he is a HOF-er. My point is I believe a lot teams will get fixated on LB and not our players. That could really work to our advantage. As hard as it is for us diehards to believe how deep and talented we are, it's probably even harder for teams we're playing to believe it.

No. Someone else from here in LR. I do respect your commitment to SMU and don't understand your coset fandom of the Beloved Razorbacks, though. ANd what's with that car license plate of yours that says "Razor Up"?

I'm confused by this statement. How good do WE think we are? I can't remember anyone saying we would beat Arkansas. They were out of their minds from long distance early and we basically played even after their hot start. Plus, we were without our arguably second best scorer. With the emergence of Ben Moore I think we might be better than most thought. We've yet to see what KF and Kennedy are capable of. As others have mention, our biggest concern is outside shooting. Someone's got to help Nic out. I'm still confident that will be KF though.
