Cross Country: 2013 NCAA Championship Meet

No. 29 SMU will compete in the NCAA National Championship meet Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana. The women's race is scheduled to start at approximately 12:15pm Dallas time.

The race will be held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. The women will run the 6k loop.

Not sure I am the best person to ask about running.

Runners like cool, not cold. Remember you're running in shorts and a sleeveless shirt. Also, cold air is tough on the lungs and in distance running getting air is what its all about. The teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Syracuse probably will be the most likely to benefit from the colder temperatures since they've been running in them for a few months now.

SMU finishes in 31st today at the national championships. What a great experience for such a young team.

Agnes Sjöström leads the Mustangs in 155th. Karoline Skatteboe finished 181st. Melanie Stemper finished 193rd.
