Two years ago wifey and I went to one bar downtown (It was To get away from the oppressive heat at the tailgate) and had a great time before the game. Margaritas were $2.50 and free Delicious Gumbo with lotsa TVs.

"The Salty Dog" on N Valley Mills Drive (near Lake Waco) is a very nice Sports bar.
